Honeysuckle Moth

Fairly common and widespread, usually recorded as an adult
to light, especially at garden light-traps.&nbsp;
Like the much scarcer <i>Y. nemorella</i>,
associated with honeysuckle.

Spindle Smudge

Fairly widespread in low numbers with a few recorded each
year, especially in the south of the county; possibly under-recorded, as the
main flight period is early in the year.

Hooked Smudge

Scarce in woodland, scattered across the county.&nbsp; Usually a few recorded per decade, but
certainly not annual in occurrence.&nbsp; The
larvae are associated with honeysuckle.
