    The commoner, and much the more widespread, of the two Stigmella species feeding on Rowan.  Its strongest populations are on Exmoor with a presence on the Quantocks.  There are isolated records from 2000-2001 at Beacon Hill Wood on the Mendips above Shepton Mallet and at Goblin Combe south of Bristol.
