Marbled Brown

A species of western upland oakwoods,
most commonly in the Blackdowns and Quantocks.&nbsp;
A good population in Great Breach Wood and another in the woods on
the Wiltshire border near Stourhead, but otherwise very rare east of a line
between Crewkerne and Bridgwater.&nbsp; 

Tawny Prominent

A single record of this rare migrant, from Wellington in 2010.&nbsp; Essentially a Mediterranean species, it is resident a long way north in France and could conceivably be a future resident with a warming climate.

Found right across the county, though rarely in any numbers.
