Widely if patchily distributed across the county, being most frequently reported from areas with high proportions of deciduous woodland.<br>

Lesser Cream Wave

Thinly distributed and scattered across most of the county, rarely seeming to be recorded regularly anywhere.<br>

Smoky Wave

A moth of moorland, restricted to Exmoor and the Quantocks, where it can be observed by day as much as by night.&nbsp; Three anomalous records from Langport in 2010-12 and one from 1995 in Mendip complete the picture.<br>
