Bright Neb

A recent colonist of south-west England which has spread through the county.&nbsp; It is recorded annually in small numbers.&nbsp; Probably commonest in (damp?) woodland, it also comes occasionally to light in gardens.&nbsp; The larvae feed up in the shoots of raspberry and bramble.

Dark Fleabane Neb

This moth is associated with ploughman's spikenard in calcareous areas, and fleabane elsewhere.&nbsp; It can be found by day, or by collecting the seedheads of its foodplant and overwintering them.&nbsp; It is recorded most years in low numbers, from two areas - north of the Mendips, and in and around the Blackdowns.&nbsp; It is likely to be under-recorded.

Light Fleabane Neb

Scarce in the county but likely to be under-recorded.&nbsp; The larvae feed in the seed-heads of fleabane, and the adults can be found by day, resting on the flower-heads, on which they can be surprisingly cryptic.
