Marbled Clover

As a resident, confined to East Anglia and Salisbury Plain, though it previously bred more widely. Also a suspected immigrant, which probably accounts for scattered records elsewhere. Turner (1955) listed it as very rare in the county, with records from Withycombe in 1908 and 1912 and other reports from Bath, Clevedon and Hinton St. George. The only modern record is from Stoke Trister in 1995.&nbsp;

Bordered Sallow

Scarce, not recorded every year,
and seems to be in decline.&nbsp; Most
frequently appears on the coast between Burnham-on-Sea and Clevedon, and around
Minehead, with occasional wanderers elsewhere.&nbsp;
If this is a resident species it must be in some danger of extinction.

Spotted Clover

A scarce immigrant species, mainly to eastern and south-eastern England. Turner (1955) lists just one record, at Weston-super-Mare in 1877.
