Bindweed Bent-wing

Almost all records are of larvae on bindweed; it appears to be not uncommon.&nbsp; The distribution map suggests this is a local species, but this may just reflect the areas where recorders have searched for the moth.

Ash-bud Moth

Widespread across the county, though apparently absent from the Levels and also from large parts of the Mendips, surprisingly considering the abundance of ash in Mendip woodlands.

Dark Ash-bud Moth

Relatively recently split from <i>P. fraxinella</i>.&nbsp; Unrecorded in the county before 2015, it has been seen every year since, with over half the records in 2020.
