Yellow Horned

A birch-feeder, under-recorded through flying early in the year, but undeniably local in occurrence.&nbsp; Most frequently reported from the Quantocks and Blackdowns.&nbsp; No 21st century records from Leigh Woods/south of Bristol, the Mendips and Shapwick/Westhay - does this represent a species decline, or lack of recording early in the year in these areas?<br>

Oak Lutestring

As the English name suggests, associated with oakwoods, especially around the Quantocks and Exmoor, though also the oakwoods in the east of the county along the Wiltshire border.&nbsp;&nbsp;

Frosted Green

An oak-feeder with a patchy distribution in the county, commonest in a south-westerly band from Porlock to Crewkerne, also in the Poldens and south of Bristol.&nbsp; Appears to be very scarce or completely absent from the Levels and large areas of eastern Somerset.<br>
