Large Midget

A scarce, but possibly under-recorded, miner of the leaves of honeysuckle and related plants.&nbsp; Probably more widely distributed than shown.

Small Elm Midget

Probably to be found wherever hedgerow elms occur, and fairly frequent, though less common than <i>Phyllonorycter tristrigella</i> which shares the same foodplant.&nbsp; The mines tend to occur in small groups on nearby leaves.

Red Birch Midget

Despite the scientific name, a miner of birches.&nbsp; It is restricted by the distribution of its host plant, and most common where they occur naturally, but fairly readily colonises planted birches, and as a result is rather more widely distributed than the birch-feeding <i>Stigmella</i> leaf-miners.
