Maple Midget

Widespread on field maple Acer campestre, sometimes in decent numbers.&nbsp; Likely to be restricted by the distribution of its calcicole foodplant.

Dark Alder Midget

A fairly widespread and common miner of the leaves of alders - usually Alnus glutinosa but also A. incana and A. cordata - and likely to be more widely distributed than the map currently suggests.

Honeysuckle Midget

A miner of the leaves of honeysuckle and related plants.&nbsp; More frequently recorded than P. emberizaepennella which shares the same foodplant, and occurring right across the county.
