Hawthorn Midget

A leaf-miner on various woody Rosaceae, especially Hawthorn.&nbsp; Widespread across the county, but curiously patchy in distribution, often frequent in one area and absent from the next.

Cherry Midget

A leaf-miner on Cherry, often being found on planted specimens in urban environments.&nbsp; Very local, but can be common where it occurs.

Viburnum Midget

A miner on Viburnum, in Somerset usually V. lantana (wayfaring tree).&nbsp; The tree - and therefore the moth - is restricted to calcareous areas: the Mendips and northwards, the Poldens, and locally in the Blackdowns.&nbsp; Unlike other parts of the country, in Somerset the moth does not appear to be using ornamental Viburnums in gardens.
