A leaf-miner on Hornbeam, which is not a common tree in Somerset, and with a restricted distribution as a result.&nbsp; The mines are often present in considerable numbers where the tree is to be found.<br>

Beech Midget

A leaf-miner on beech, widespread across the county and common to abundant on its hostplant.&nbsp; Possibly absent from the Levels owing to lack of foodplant there.<br>

Nut-leaf Blister Moth

Abundant leaf-miner on Hazel, no doubt present wherever the foodplant is to be found.<br>
