Small Dotted Buff

    Photedes minima

    NoctuidaeABH 73.147 B&F 2345

A widespread moth of damp places, occasionally locally abundant – Great Breach Wood and the Simonsbath area appear to be particular hotspots.  Most records are, however, of wanderers in small numbers to garden lights.  The moth appears to be holding its own in the south and west of the county, but in decline in the north and east.

    Adult Verification Grade: 1
