Barred Rivulet

Primarily&nbsp; coastal in the south-west , the species can be found primarily on chalk downland and other calcareous habitat with short turf, where the foodplant, Red Bartsia, grows. Has been recorded in the county in low numbers in recent years.

The Rivulet

Widespread across the county, although seldom recorded in numbers, feeding internally on the seed-heads of red campion, and likely to occur wherever campions are allowed to set seed.&nbsp; The maps suggest an absence from much of the Levels, which may be under-recording or may be due to lack of suitable foodplant.

Small Rivulet

Widespread throughout the county, frequently recorded in small numbers to light in gardens, occasionally numerous in woodland and grassland habitats on acidic soils.
