Marsh Oblique-barred

This small, nationally scarce,&nbsp; species of boggy moorland, heathland, swamps, marshes and fens could be mistaken for a micro moth. It flies in late afternoon and evening and comes to light. Turner (1955) lists it as rare and very local. Since then it has been recorded in small numbers and irregularly, mainly on the Somerset Levels.

An inappropriately named species which is nationally scarce and very much in decline. It frequents ancient woodland with low, bushy, growth and will come to light. Turner (1955) lists one very old record. Modern records are sparse and widely distributed.
