One of a number of Phyllonorycter species mining oak, and cannot be identified from the leaf-mine alone.&nbsp; Probably the second most common of the oak Phyllonorycters and is no doubt present right across the county.<br>

Only distinguishable with difficulty from Parornix torquilella, and as a result under-recorded; present right across the county.<br>

Blackthorn Slender

Only distinguishable with difficulty from Parornix finitimella, and as a result under-recorded; present right across the county.<br>
