Pancalia leuwenhoekella

    Violet Cosmet

    CosmopterigidaeABH 34.001 B&F 899

Fairly scarce and local, though as a micro-moth that only flies by day, it is probably under-recorded.  Most records are from limestone grassland sites, with Thurlbear Quarrylands, Hellenge Hill and Tucking Mill (Bath) supplying many of them. Likely to be found on more sites, particularly in the Mendips and Poldens.
