as the turn of the century.

A moth of moorland and coastal sand-dunes and shingle.&nbsp; There are just two county records, possibly where there were old colonies, at&nbsp;Wiveliscombe (2013) and Portishead (1981).

Somerset, though never recorded in great numbers.&nbsp; The distinctive larvae are frequently
reported, but most records are of the adult male, both flying erratically by
day and coming to light at night.
