Barred Chestnut

Regularly, if infrequently, recorded from the Minehead/Porlock area; occasional records from elsewhere suggestive of wandering individuals. A species of woodland and moorland, most widespread in northern England and Scotland.

Flame Shoulder

Common, occasionally abundant, and widespread across the county.&nbsp; Two diffuse broods with peaks in numbers in late May/early June and in August.

Radford's Flame Shoulder

Migrant, unknown until recently, now being recorded annually, usually coastally.&nbsp; 2018 Norton-sub-Hamdon, 2020 Clevedon, 2021 Weston-super-Mare and Portishead.
