Oak Lutestring

As the English name suggests, associated with oakwoods, especially around the Quantocks and Exmoor, though also the oakwoods in the east of the county along the Wiltshire border.&nbsp;&nbsp;

Satin Lutestring

A scarce and local moth in the county, with three centres of distribution - the Avon Gorge/Tickenham ridge, around Porlock, and the northern Quantocks.&nbsp; Old, isolated records from elsewhere may reflect wandering individuals or lost populations.<br>

Common Lutestring

A fairly widely distributed and frequently recorded moth, especially in and around woodland, although seldom seen in numbers.&nbsp; Variable in the colour and intensity of its markings.
