Yellow-backed Clothes Moth

Scarce, but present in small
numbers most years.&nbsp; Another moth that
seems to show up repeatedly for a year or two at well-recorded sites and then
be absent from the same site for long periods.

Skin Moth

Occurs across the county, but
seems commoner north of the Mendips than elsewhere.&nbsp; Small numbers recorded most years, usually to
light traps in gardens though with occasional daytime field records.

Carrion Moth

A few recorded each year, usually
of adults to light.&nbsp; This species seems
to be sporadic in occurrence, being present at a given location for a while,
and then to disappear.
