Clouded Mompha

Recorded in small numbers most years, usually of adults to light, though also from larval mines on enchanter's nightshade, <i>Circaea lutetiana</i>.&nbsp; This species is widespread but with a concentration of records on the northern fringes of Exmoor, an area which is generally under-recorded for moths.

Kentish Mompha

A single record, from Radstock in 2019.&nbsp; Appears to be on the western edge of its range in Somerset.&nbsp; Associated with rosebay willowherb, it could reasonably be expected at other sites in the east of the county.

Common Mompha

Widespread and one of the commoner species in this genus.&nbsp; Usually recorded at light and frequently (but not exclusively) in gardens, it can also be found from its larval galls on great willowherb, <i>Epilobium hirsutum</i>.
