Associated with bilberry, so predominately a moth of upland Somerset, frequently reported (by micro-moth standards) from the Blackdowns, Quantocks and Exmoor.  Only one, pre-1945, record from VC6, at Penselwood, though it is not impossible that it still exists somewhere in the woodlands on the Wiltshire border.
