Widespread, common, often locally abundant, in the flower-heads of buttercups.<br>

Yellow-barred Gold

Associated with bilberry, so predominately a moth of upland Somerset, frequently reported (by micro-moth standards) from the Blackdowns, Quantocks and Exmoor.&nbsp; Only one, pre-1945, record from VC6, at Penselwood, though it is not impossible that it still exists somewhere in the woodlands on the Wiltshire border.<br>

Scattered throughout the county, generally in locations that have not been subjected to agricultural improvement.<br>
