Migrant.&nbsp; One record in Somerset in 2009, 12 records, some of multiple individuals, in 2011.&nbsp; These were associated with immigration events reported nationally - despite the moth's name, they originated from the Low Countries.

Tawny-barred Angle

Fairly widespread, but local.&nbsp; Associated with conifers, and accordingly most frequently found in upland, wooded areas, and scarce or absent from areas lacking coniferous woodland.

The V-Moth

A species that has suffered severe national decline, possibly because its larval foodplants, Red Currant, Black Currant and Gooseberry, are not grown so much now in gardens. Historically, it was always&nbsp; occasional and very local in the county. It has not been recorded since 1989 so may now be extinct.&nbsp;
