Common Bagworm

Scarce, with 29 records to date, mostly of larval cases.&nbsp; Most records are from sites of some nature conservation significance.&nbsp; It is one of the few micro-moths to be recorded from Steep Holm.

Brown Bagworm

Fairly well-recorded by bagworm standards, with little clusters of records across the county, particularly around Taunton and Porlock; it is hard to tell if this is a genuine picture of its distribution or a map of recording effort.&nbsp; Very few records from VC6, and none since 2000.

Virgin Bagworm

Two pre-1939 records of this species from the south of the county, and nothing since.&nbsp; Is it extinct or awaiting re-finding?
