Obscure Wainscot

Mostly a reedbed and wetland insect, especially common on the Levels, particularly at Ham Wall.&nbsp; Not restricted to this area, and occurs elsewhere in the county, with an exceptional record of 39 at Hurlstone Point in 2013.

Devonshire Wainscot

A species of coastal cliffs and very local in the county.&nbsp; Known from the Minehead area from at least 1961 and regularly recorded at Hurlstone Point.&nbsp; Recorded in some numbers at Brean Down in 2021, suggesting a recently-established population at this well-recorded site.&nbsp; One record from Burnham-on-Sea, presumably a wanderer.
