Raspberry Moth

Scarce and local, and has probably declined in range.&nbsp; Regularly recorded from West Luccombe (Exmoor) up to 2002, and recent records from Berrow and from Stockhill on the Mendips.<br>

Currant-shoot Borer

This moth feeds in the shoot-tips of wild currant in the spring and wilted leaves of affected stems give away its presence; it also comes to light.&nbsp; Now a very rare species nationally, larvae were found at Harridge Wood in 2022 and the moth has been found before at nearby Edford Wood.&nbsp; It may occur elsewhere in the nearby area.

Scarce and possibly declining, with recent records from Exmoor and the Quantocks, where it may well be under-recorded.<br>
