Bright-line Brown-eye

A common moth, occurring just about everywhere in the county.&nbsp; The larvae, which have two colour forms (brown and green), can sometimes be a pest on tomatoes.

Beautiful Brocade

Once widely scattered across the county, this moth has declined steeply.&nbsp; Most recent records are from Haddon Hill, where it was last recorded in 2015.

Predominately a wetland moth, not just on the Levels but also on coastal wetlands and across central southern Somerset between Taunton and Yeovil.&nbsp; Absent or scarce in the uplands, north of the Mendips and in the east of the county.
