Homoeosoma nimbella

    Sheep's-bit Knot-horn

    PyralidaeABH 62.056 B&F 1482

Something of an enigma in Somerset.  Abbots Leigh and Portishead (pre-1906), Bridgwater (1927) and Bickenhall (1958).  The foodplant is Sheep's bit Jasione montana, which does not occur in the areas in which the moth can be found, and in Somerset is confined to the far west of the county.
