Scalloped Hook-tip

    Falcaria lacertinaria

    DrepanidaeABH 65.001 B&F 1645

A moth of birch woodland, and has always been restricted to areas supporting that habitat.  Still seems to be widespread on Exmoor and the Quantocks. Appears to be less widespread than it formerly was in the woodlands on the Wiltshire border, parts of the Blackdowns and around Shapwick.

    Adult Verification Grade: 1
