Ochreous Pug

    Eupithecia indigata

    GeometridaeABH 70.171 B&F 1844

Not an especially common moth in Somerset, and missing from a vast swathe of the centre of the county, probably through lack of suitable (coniferous) foodplant, and also from inland Exmoor, probably through lack of recording.  Commonest in a band through the south of the county, stretching from Yeovil through Taunton and then up to the Exmoor coast.  Fewer, more scattered records in the Mendips and northward, especially around Bath.

    Adult Verification Grade: 2
