Bleached Pug

    Nationally scarce. Very local in southern England and south Wales, with scattered records further north.  Rare in the county.  A species of woodland rides and clearings, which may be disturbed around the foodplant, Goldenrod, during the day. It sometimes comes to light. A large pug which needs to be distinguished from Wormwood Pug.
