Bleached Pug

Nationally scarce. Very local in southern England and south Wales, with scattered records further north.&nbsp; Rare in the county.&nbsp; A species of woodland rides and clearings, which may be disturbed around the foodplant, Goldenrod, during the day. It sometimes comes to light. A large pug which needs to be distinguished from Wormwood Pug.

Satyr Pug

Rare - only 37 records in total and very few within the last decade.&nbsp; Little real pattern to the records.&nbsp; Nationally, it can be associated with both moorland and chalk downland.

Widespread in low but fluctuating numbers, occurring across the county.
