Autumnal Rustic

In Somerset, a moth of semi-natural, usually acidic, grasslands.&nbsp; Two main areas of distribution - upland west and south Somerset (Exmoor, Quantocks, Blackdowns) and the Mendips, with smaller populations in the Gordano valley and in the heathy woodland in the far east of the county along the Wiltshire border.

Thirteen records to date, mostly from the west of the county (particularly the Minehead area), and none more recently than 2006.&nbsp; It is at the very least questionable whether it still occurs here.
