    Euclidia glyphica

    ErebidaeABH 72.083 B&F 2463

A day-flying moth of semi-natural, almost always calcareous grasslands, especially on the Poldens, the limestone hills around Bath, and much of Mendip.  It can also be found on parts of the Blackdowns and on post-industrial land around Radstock and Midsomer Norton.  There is a single, anomalous record from Exmoor.  It is oddly absent from the western, coastal Mendips, between Crook Peak and the sea at Brean Down.

    Adult Verification Grade: 1
