Waved Carpet

A moth of damp, wooded areas, most frequently reported from the Brendons, eastern Exmoor and the Blackdowns.&nbsp; Resident in the woods on the Wiltshire border; occasional records from elsewhere may reflect local populations or may result from dispersing individuals.

Widespread across the county, frequently recorded in small numbers.<br>

Always local, appears to be becoming scarcer.&nbsp; Most frequently recorded from Taunton/Quantocks/Blackdowns and the Shapwick Heath area.<br>
