Comfrey Ermel

Recorded in Cheddar Wood in 1917 and at the same site in 2000.&nbsp; These are the only county records.&nbsp; It is remarkable that the moth has not been found elsewhere; the foodplant (comfrey) is widespread in the county and there are plenty of superficially similar locations elsewhere in the Mendips.

Treble-spot Flat-body

Scarce and local.&nbsp;
Fairly regularly reported from the Porlock area and a scattering of
other sites, all more or less westerly, except for a site at Butleigh.

Dotted Ermel

A scatter of records across the county with a strong easterly bias; associated with calcareous areas.&nbsp; Comes to light, and is possibly being found more frequently.
