Cloaked Carpet

A moth of Exmoor, the Quantocks and the Blackdowns, occasionally wandering short distances elsewhere. Also present in the acidic woodlands in the extreme east of the county along the Wiltshire border.<br>

Wood Carpet

Difficult to separate from Common Carpet, and far scarcer.&nbsp; Most often met with around Wiveliscombe and the fringes of the Brendons, and in the far south of the county, though still can be found elsewhere.<br>

Galium Carpet

Largely coastal, with most records coming from between Sand Point and Burnham-on-Sea, and between Porlock and Minehead.&nbsp; Regularly found at Priddy Mineries, and less frequently at other grassland sites on the Mendips, also in the southern Quantocks and the far south of the county, occasionally elsewhere.<br>
