Rare.&nbsp; Recent records
from around Chew Valley Lake.&nbsp; Historic
records from the Shapwick area but it may well have disappeared from here.&nbsp; Recorded at Bickenhall in the Blackdowns in
1951.

Downland Marble

Scarce, and associated with dry, free-draining habitats –
the dunes at Berrow and the limestone areas of the Mendips being the most
frequently reported locations.

Bordered Marble

Fairly common coastally, scarcer but widely distributed
inland.&nbsp; Like <i>E. gentianaeana</i>, the
larvae can be found frequently within the heads of Teasel <i>Dipsacus fullonum</i>,
although this particular species also uses other hostplants.
