One of the more frequently recorded elachistids in Somerset, though with very few records west of Taunton.&nbsp; It is most often recorded at light.

Two-dotted Dwarf

Three records, all pre-1939, from Leigh Woods, Misterton and Haselbury Plucknett.&nbsp; The moth could potentially still occur in the county, as the foodplant glaucous sedge Carex flacca is common in calcareous areas.

Sweet-grass Dwarf

A single record of this wetland species, from Westhay in 1979.&nbsp; It may still occur in the area; the foodplant is reed sweet-grass, Glyceria maxima.
