Southern Dwarf

Rare, possibly under-recorded.&nbsp; The only recent records are from Hewish (2003) and Thurlbear Quarrylands (2019).&nbsp; Old records from Portishead, Crewkerne, Bickenhall and Leigh Woods.<br>

Cotton-grass Dwarf

Feeding on sedges and cotton-grasses, this is a species of boggy ground.&nbsp; Four records - Brean Down (2021 - surely a wanderer/migrant), Chetsford Water, Exmoor (2002) and Shapwick Heath (1920, 1952).&nbsp; There is plenty more suitable habitat on Exmoor, and potentially it could be fairly widespread there.<br>

Broken-barred Dwarf

Formerly fairly common in the north of the county, but only one record in the last 15 years (Radstock in 2017).&nbsp; Other than the Radstock record (at light), it has only been found by daytime fieldwork. Only once found further south, at Crewkerne in the 1920s.<br>
