Bent-barred Pigmy

A miner on wild roses.&nbsp; Much less common than Stigmella anomalella which shares the foodplant, this moth seems to be scarce, local and variable in numbers, preferring calcareous areas.

Spotted Black Pigmy

Probably the commonest of the Ectoedemia species mining the leaves of oak, occurring right across the county.

White-spot Pigmy

Fairly common as a miner on oaks in varying numbers, though never as abundant as Ectoedemia subbimaculella which makes mines at much the same time.&nbsp; Probably to be found anywhere in the county with decent populations of oak.
