Grey Scalloped Bar
Dyscia fagaria
GeometridaeABH 70.292 B&F 1969A local and uncommon species of moorland, heathland and bogs, with a very scattered population in Britain. Turner (1955) did not list it as a county species . There have a handful of records since 1972, almost all from the Exmoor area. Considering the amount of suitable habitat in the county, perhaps targeted trapping might produce more records. It may be disturbed by day, since males bask on open ground.
