Lunar Marbled Brown

Common in upland oakwoods,
especially in the Blackdowns and Quantocks, but unlike its close relative
Marbled Brown is not restricted to this habitat, and is thinly distributed in
woodlands across the rest of the county.

Found right across the county, though rarely in any numbers.

A species of western upland oakwoods,
most commonly in the Blackdowns and Quantocks.&nbsp;
A good population in Great Breach Wood and another in the woods on
the Wiltshire border near Stourhead, but otherwise very rare east of a line
between Crewkerne and Bridgwater.&nbsp;
