Spring Tubic

A single record, from Crowcombe in 1955.&nbsp; Possibly extinct, though as an inconspicuous moth flying by day in April there is always the possibility it has simply escaped the notice of moth recorders.

March Tubic

Widespread and common, though under-recorded through flying early in the mothing year.&nbsp; At favoured sites - usually woodland - it can be very numerous to light. It appears scarce or absent from the more treeless parts of the Levels and Exmoor.

November Tubic

Always a scarce moth in Somerset, it continues to be reported every few years, mostly from the west of the county.&nbsp; Flying in October and November, it is probably under-recorded.
