Brown Powdered Knot-horn

Only separated from D. dilutella in 2015.&nbsp; Like that species, it is associated with thyme.&nbsp; Only one record, from Brean Down in 2021.&nbsp; Almost certainly this does not tell the whole story, as it is likely some of the historic records of D. dilutella refer to this species, and undoubtedly it is under-recorded because a valid record requires dissection.

Brown Knot-horn

Associated with heather, and unsurprisingly is commoner the further west you go in Somerset.&nbsp; There are several records well away from naturally-occurring heather - it is more likely that these result from natural dispersal rather than colonisation of garden heathers, which does occur.&nbsp; Comes to light, which accounts for almost all Somerset records.

Powdered Knot-horn

Associated with thyme, and records are largely from areas of calcareous grassland.&nbsp; The closely-related Delplanqueia inscriptella was only separated from this species in 2015, and it may be that some of the older records of this moth relate to the other species.&nbsp; A valid record now requires dissection.
