Cydalima perspectalis

This adventive species seems to have been introduced with imported Box (Buxus) plants . It was first recorded in Britain in 2007 in Kent and has since spread through south-eastern England and further west and north. The first county record was in 2017. Larvae can cause severe defoliation of Box.
