Recorded across most of the county and apparently increasing in numbers; absent from inland Exmoor and from the area around Bridgwater.<br>

Blair's Mocha

A scarce autumn immigrant, recorded mainly in open areas and woodland. Prior to the 21st century there were just two county records. Since then there has been a handful of records.

False Mocha

A scarce resident species nationally, and much declined.&nbsp; A species of woodland. carr and heathland. Larva foodplant is Oak.&nbsp; Historically rare and local in the county, the only 21st century records have been from the Quantocks, where there was a spate of records in 2015 and 2017.
