Lime Knot-horn

Associated with lime-woods and rare, both nationally and within Somerset.&nbsp; Traditionally associated with Leigh Woods, but not recorded there since 1995.&nbsp; There are two records in the current century, from Crewkerne (2001) and Walton Common (2013).&nbsp; A species that would merit targeted searching in woods with stands of old lime-trees.

Wax Moth

Widespread but quite scarce, recorded in low but variable numbers every year.

Double-striped Knot-horn

Widespread but local, usually being recorded as singletons to light.&nbsp; Seems to have declined since the early years of the century.
